HD Super-8s in “39-A”

I recently worked with Pro8mm in Burbank to get all of my old Super-8 films scanned in High Definition. The films were first washed and cleaned, and then scanned using a 2K Spirit Datacine. The resulting files were saved in Apple ProRes 422 format and delivered on a hard drive. I have since remastered 39-A using the new HD scans – Scenic Highway is not far behind. Here are some examples of the before and after:
